CrazyGoatLady
Thanks Irondragon. I'm going to straighten and clean it up good. Now I need to make 100 more and maybe I'll have it down haha. The ring I'm wearing is a substitute for the tungsten ring I lost.... maybe that's what I need to ask for an anniversary gift is a new ring
JHCC
I sprained a finger a couple of weeks ago and had to cut my wedding ring off before the swelling became an issue. Planning to get it fixed once the swelling goes completely down.

Daswulf
Nice hatchet (hust what I call em). Is it a standardized eye size or is it one to custom fit? Dig the feather hook.
Jimmyiorn
It would be a custom fit as I didn’t drift all the way due to smaller size..... thanks das

Conrad.blacksmithing
This is not really shop related but I'm on a trip to Arizona right now and yesterday I stopped by Pieh Tool. I couldn't leave without tongs and I got to meet Amy the owner of the place and talk with her for a while about anvils and my hammers. CrazyGoatLady
Nice. Where is Pieh Tool company located?
Conrad.blacksmithing
They're in Phoenix. I really liked their anvils. Especially the new Mclellan anvils.
CrazyGoatLady
Thanks. I didn't know that. I've never ordered anything from them, but Ive heard good things about them.
Conrad.blacksmithing
Yeah the tongs I got are pretty nice. All their tools looked to be good quality but the only thing I noticed is the cast swages and bottom tools were a little rough (as in casting texture). If I bought one I would grind it smooth
CrazyGoatLady
Those tongs look really clean and well made.
Conrad.blacksmithing
I'm pretty impressed as I have not made a pair anywhere near that clean . They were a little pricey though.
ausfire
These card holders have been selling well over the Christmas period. They take a while though - hard to keep up the supply. Heads are forged from 19mm x 8mm MS bar, bases are scrap offcuts from heavy beam:
jlpservicesinc
Aus, what are they selling for price wise? they are great..

Jennifer, as you would know, pricing work is always tricky. You want things to sell, but you know how long things like this take to make. I have found these card holders sell at $85. That's Australian dollars of course, which would be around about $60 in your money.
jlpservicesinc
Nice.. It sure is.. If you are happy with the price that is all that counts.. I loved that video you put together.. It was nice your friend helped with filming.. Great work and thanks for answering.. pricing is tricky for sure and talking about it can be even more so.. I'm fortunate that as dry as my hair is it doesn't seem to be very flammable, it goes right out. I've lost patches but never much at once. I've seen hair go from long blond and beautiful to a dusting of ash in seconds though. So fast the gal didn't get burned and she looked pretty hot bald so it wasn't completely awful. Glenn
Hair dressings sprays sometimes help the hair to be even more flammable.
