Just got the call that my Sister's cancer has metastasized to her liver and things are not looking good.

All prayers/good thoughts accepted! 

Don't know how this will affect my participation here; plus, minus, other.

OK, the hospital is not allowing *anyone* in; my Mother still wants to go anyway, but I was told I have to stay isolated here.

Status subject to change.

Don't concern yourself with us, take care of yourself and Joann. You can't be any help if you don't take care of yourself. Hospitals aren't going to want to take any chance during the Pandemic.

Any update on your sister you'd like to share?  Been praying for her and your family.

I'm sorry for coming across this thread so late, my prayers are with you and your family.  Please be safe and do what you need to do to be with your family in this difficult time.

Thomas, I got here late as well.  Here's hoping your sister can kick this and be on the mend.  Our thoughts go out to you and the family.

Truly sorry to hear that Thomas. Hopefully you'll be able to visit with her soon. My sister just had a mass removed from her lung Friday and I was  concerned about her being in the hospital during this outbreak.

We've had surprisingly good news; my Sister is doing much better!  She's been moved to a "step down facility" for 5 weeks and if she can get off the feeding tube will be coming home from there.  My Mother has flown home and in 2 more weeks I can go visit Mom at least....

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes during this time of confusion.

That's GREAT news, Thomas.  Thanks for the update and thank God she'll be coming home soon.  The power of prayer is powerful, indeed.

Thanks; I believe this is more of a brief time to prepare; but every day is a gift.

Hallelujah! Still praying. 

Just heard, my sister is out of the hospital and in hospice care at home.  Looks like I will be trying to make it out there for a last visit.  They don't expect more than a week.

Wishing for peace for your sister and all the family. Were here for you if you need to talk.
