January 31, 201511 yr If you think a lady can't grow facial hair, you've never met my ex....sigh. 5 years til the military lets me loose and I can grow it out. Just a weekend warrior now, so I can grow a month's worth, but it drives ya crazy starting over all the time.

October 9, 201510 yr I've worn a beard at various points in life, but currently am cleanshaven most of the time. I usually don't shave on weekends or vacations, partly because it's easier and partly because my wife likes me a bit scruffy.However, I wear a CPAP for my sleep apnea, and too much facial hair can mess with the seal on the mask.
October 9, 201510 yr I've had the same aguments over scba and protective masks with the fire department. As the german army, police and fire departments alow full beards. I can get a good seal with SCBA and protective mask
October 10, 201510 yr I shave my upper lip / soul patch and the bottom of my neck.... I can't stand the whiskers poking my lip. The neck bit is because it catches on my clothes and pulls.

October 11, 201510 yr Had a moustache all my adult life, except for when I met the wife and she wanted me to shave it, then decided she didn't like it!I gave up on shaving, despite how good a shave I had in the morning, by noon I'd look like I forgot to have one,,,,,so I just trim it down to designer stubble when the critters start nesting in it......!

October 11, 201510 yr I get to wear mine about three months at a time. Atleast quarterly I have to work in the refinery whose policy is clean shaven or a tight mustach. I would attempt a zz top beard if time allowed, maybe after I retire.Scott
October 11, 201510 yr Clean shaven, most days never more than 2 days and that is if I'm not leaving the farm. Close hair cut military left over just enough to comb easy to care for. My brother has had a full beard since he came home from Afghanistan in 1967 and long hair always needing a cutting.

I've had the same bald head/goatee for 15 years now.My son wants me to Be Obi-Wan-Ken obi from Star wars for Halloween, so I'm growing the beard out, but last night I shaved my head again, so now It's just a beard.Not sure if i like it or not, so far no comments other than the wife who simply said "Ugh."(She hates change!)
October 13, 201510 yr I went 4 days without shaving on vacation once. People started avoiding me as if I were a criminal so off it came. Clean shaven ever since.

October 13, 201510 yr itchy beard problems wash with head and shoulders i used to use regular shampoo on it and couldnt get it longer than an inch to an inch and a half do to itchyness. now since i made the switch im at 3 inches and growing. i love my beard
