Shop rebuild

Finally decided to put monorail up over outside portion of shop. Have support beam up. 

Tomorrow will set monorail.

Just need to grout column bolts and it  will be finished  

should be nice for loading/ unloading.

Thanks. 

Sold old hammer to make room for new one. 

Devided to move anvil into vacated space.

Installed conveyor belt under hammer for vibration control

And dig old gas forge out and put back in use.

That's a beauty! Were I to come by one of that pattern I'd have to paint the whiskers on the horn.

You may want to add a rain cover over the outside rail system. It would keep things out there dry until you could use them.

hopefully , in time, the entire outside shop will have a roof.......but now that shop if functional i get too busy with smithing.

yes, curved hardy, not big deal to me as i don't use a lot of hardy tooling on main anvil, usually just a hot cut which i will make.

I keep a smaller anvil that is used for tooling.

yesterday was first real day of forging on it.....love it.

Installed alarm and prepped doors for magnetic switches today. 

Also started working again on door latch for back door of  shop.

Finally got around to fabricating and having buddies brick me a gasser. 

Bought some chili burners. 

Great product!!
