you have certainly had some time to really think this out.  Consider yourself fortunate and ahead of the curve.  It really looks amazing.  End grain floors are amazing to stand on

I am just starting to draw up my plans for a blacksmith shop. And then I find this set of pictures. WOW, now that is something to shoot for, that being said I am only looking to build a small shop as it's only ever meant to be a hobby for me. 

I am impressed and can only say, " Good job Sir."
