Glenn
You may want to add a rain cover over the outside rail system. It would keep things out there dry until you could use them.
58er
hopefully , in time, the entire outside shop will have a roof.......but now that shop if functional i get too busy with smithing.
Rojo Pedro
Sweet anvil. Love the horn. is the hardy hole curved and will you need new tooling?
58er
thanks. yes, curved hardy, not big deal to me as i don't use a lot of hardy tooling on main anvil, usually just a hot cut which i will make. I keep a smaller anvil that is used for tooling. yesterday was first real day of forging on it.....love it.

I put a Ken's Kit on a 135# air hammer about a year ago. Absolutely amazing once you get used to the action! Pretty thrifty on air consumption as well. 58er
Built stand for swage block.
marcusb
What happened to the Williams and White? That's a great block! It seems like there are two camps on swage blocks. Some claim there only function is decorative and others use them almost daily. What uses do you find for this one?
58er
sold the W/W hammer to make room for the Kens hammer. Thanks I love the swage block. use it mostly on end for artsy things, the occasional punch backing......I would'nt have a shop without one.
