Deb,
You and Jerry are in our prayers.
Jerry Whitley

God bless you both. Heal fast and well, Frosty.

What can I say? Frosty was a "bud" and I am feeling rather sad for him and his wife. Only got to know him here, yet still seemed like a good friend. Love ya, Frosty. Please pull through.

Prayers are being sent for a fast and full recovery, Frosty is one of those people who even tho I'ev only known on here I know he is some one that I would like to know in person.
He is a great asset to IFI and the blacksmithing community but I know he is an even greater asset to his family and I trust that God will bring him back to all of us but especially his family.
We will continue to pray for him until he has made a full recovery.

Sorry I didn't see this till just now, but consider him and his wife on my personal prayer list as well as my church's prayer chain/list. Praying for all those caring for him as well. For me personally it is good to know that the God I serve isn't limited to just one location. Prayers going up for him here in western NC.

I really hope he gets well soon. It is always amazing to see how deep and broad his knowledge is.

Terrible news. My best wishes to both Jerry and Deb.

This was on my home page at facebook just a couple of minutes ago/Selden

From Deb
FROSTY SQUEEZED MY HAND!! I was sitting with him - he was restless - then he opened his eyes and said "water". Jerry asked for WATER!! I asked him to squeeze my hand and he DID! Jer squeezed my hand!

Wonderful news! Still praying!

Passed along from another list...

(Timestamp was Mon, Oct 5, 2009 at 4:01 AM with no timezone given, so I believe the below refers to 11:20PM Sunday)

...

At 11:20 PM, Alaska Time, my Frosty stirred, turned his head side to
side ... and asked for WATER! I said his name and he turned his head
towards me and when I asked him to squeeze my hand, he DID!

I've been waiting for this moment for the longest six days of my life.
I know there is likely a long road ahead ... but he LOOKED at me and I
am fairly sure he knew me. Not positive, but fairly sure. We'll know
tomorrow.

As soon as he fell asleep again, the nurse made me promise to come
straight up and to bed - she says I most likely won't get much sleep
starting tomorrow.

... he squeezed my hand and looked at me.

More tomorrow, as soon as I can. They promised to call and wake me up
if he asks for me or needs me during the night.

Love and many prayers - please keep them coming!
-Deb (De Frost)

Dang you take a long weekend from the net and this sort of thing happened.

Thomas

Thats great news.... Prays for a speady recovery

great news!! hope all stays steady on the mend!! take care and good luck....still praying

Great news, if he can squeeze your hand, he can hold a hammer, that oughta get him out of bed, speedy healing Frosty.

That's very encouraging news! Stay on the mend, Frosty. I've been mindful all weekend about all the tips and nudges you have given to all of us. My life is better because of him. You and Deb are in my thoughts.

Best of luck to Frosty and Deb.

Frosty is truly a great man. He is very supportive and knowlegable without being the slightest bit arrogant. I truly appreciate his feedback. I only know him from IFI, but I have no doubt whatsoever that if any one of us rang his doorbell unannounced, he would welcome us into his home with open arms.

Great news, if he can squeeze your hand, he can hold a hammer, that oughta get him out of bed, speedy healing Frosty.

Well said...he's in our thoughts...
