January 28, 20233 yr Had to run to tractor supply for some chicken stuff and some bolts. Saw this in the clearance isle for $3.50. It came home with me. Also got a backup of welding wire since I loaded my last one. It is never good to run out when you are really moving on a project and the stores are all closed. On a side note, I hate when weather and schedules interfere with cleaning the coop on the regular. It was rough.

The big ones from Home Despot are great stock for hardy hole tooling (especially with their built-in collar/shoulder), hammers, and trading. February 4, 20233 yr Today feels like my birthday. Got a working Hossfeld #2 bender for $45. I need to make some dies, but this completely changes how I’m planning how to proceed with the current stair rail commission.

February 5, 20233 yr Awesome score! I had a good blacksmith that I helped out on occasions. He had a hosfeldt and one project was a fabbed spiral stairway. The hosfeldt got quite a workout!

February 6, 20233 yr Nice find, I'm curious why he's wearing a lab coat in the picture though... Went up to St Paul to visit my oldest daughter over the weekend for a late Christmas. She got me a really nice new shop apron. Stopped by a Half Priced Bookstore where her boyfriend works and found a few books.

February 16, 20233 yr I got a bandsaw with a fried motor at the flee market last Friday. It's the same model as one I already have but was so cheap I could not pass it up. Also a couple of books.
