Mark Aspery Injury

Featured Replies

Just saw this on FaceBook, posted by the New England School of Metalwork: "We just heard that blacksmith and NESM Instructor Mark Aspery was in a motorcycle accident this past week and is injured but alive. We wish Mark a speedy recovery and hope to have him back soon!"

Has anyone heard anything else. Our prayers go out for a speedy recovery!

To those that have never met the man, he is A really nice chap, salt of the earth as it were, I hope that he has a complete and speedy recovery!!!
-Get well soon Mark!

Prayers sent from our family to His God Bless him and his family .

Hi All,
I went and seen Mark at the hospital last night he is in good spirits feels very lucky for only minor injuries, broken right shoulder 4or 5 broken ribbs and a bruised lung. Thanks for the prayers etc.

Well gee, tell him to slap some pine tar on it and get back to work! Is he a blacksmith or a mouse?

Prayers sent! I've learned a lot just from his books.

Mark is a first class blacksmith and great guy to be around. I'm sorry to hear about his accident and am praying for him to make a speedy and full recovery.

Gaylan do you have the address and room info so we could send him a care package?

Glad hes ok, prayers sent!

Mark,
if you read this, I know the pain you are in, I recently had a serious shoulder surgery, 2 tendons, 2 muscles and bones issues, some cartilage to be trimmed as well. You are well respected and many people like myself are hoping and praying for ease of pain and speedy recovery. Cheers!

Mark is an old school, tough individual. I'm confident of his recovery, but, haven't heard anything about the shape of the scooter... Thinking happy thoughts, Mark.

Good luck and quick recovery Mark - and get rid of the bike. That's about all they are good for...

Prayers from here.

Big hopes for speedy and complete recovery. I must admit that seems like a high mark for minor injuries, but if that is the yardstick, I will roll with it

Get home safely, and get well soon, Mark. Gotta be careful about those bikes. That CBA risks article is correct. Lots of hazards in the blacksmith shop, but none like the trip back and forth.

Prayers sent from Florida.

I could say some things about the dangers of the road but life is just plain and simple dangerous so I suppose I'll just say a prayer that he recover quickly and that his shoulder and all heal so that he can resume life without too much pain. God be with you! Jerry
