August 9, 201213 yr Praying for your complete healing. GOD bless you and the medical staff that will be attending.
August 9, 201213 yr I think Mark rides an old Norton. I know he loves it! I hope that he gets healthy enough to worry about it soon!
September 24, 201213 yr Thanks to all, Luckily the bike was reasonably OK. Some minor damage to the plastic work and a bent/squashed rear aluminum pannier. The screen was broken at the base but otherwise OK. Clothing cut by EMS staff - which was a shame as some of it was quite nice. I get it back in the next week or two. I'm doing well and will be back in the swing of things soon - Cheers, Mark
September 24, 201213 yr Mark - Glad to hear your on the mend, with no major worries. I hope you can get back to your 3rd book soon..... waiting....... :) heal up before you do anything though!!! Was a pleasure seeing you demonstrate in Minnesota.
September 24, 201213 yr Mark, thank you for the update on your condition. All the best for a full recovery.
September 24, 201213 yr Ahhh... a relief to hear that Mark! As a former EMT I know that they were taught to cut clothes like that. Too bad though that you lost some nice duds. Were you wearing good leathers? I've been forging the last couple of days. Making lots of hooks and a campfire cook set. Going to a huge trail ride next weekend... horses.
September 24, 201213 yr Actually getting your clothes repaired and re-using them would look pretty neat in a post apocalypse sort of way....Always looks more real when such damage *is* real and not "affected". Glad you are safe and back to smiting soon!
October 1, 201213 yr Author Good news, Mark. Looking forward to seeing you back on the circuit again! Take care.
