  1. I pray my biggest prayer for him and the family. How do you punish he who does not know the wrong he did. Very sad, the losing of the mind and who we used to be.
  2. Got this 10 ton porta power from my now past father in law 18 years ago. Fixed up the hydraulic quick couplers (it was hard plumbed) and have used it once this year.
  3. If you have a back up air source tear that one apart. If the cylinders are not scored then the prob is in the heads. Those are very simple reed valves and a rebuild will suit you just fine.
  4. I agree with scrambler. Rebuild. Those other compressors you list sound good but there to cheap for the cfm listed. And what is a 3 cycle compressor. Ive never heard of that.
  5. A-B-A. 10inch =a. 8inch=b. Put the 10inch back on. This test will prove 10inch is the source of vibration
  6. You need to do the a-b-a test with the 10 inch but I sure looks like the culprit. Vibration equals imbalance. The piece is round so one side is heavier then the other. And what Steve said above.
  7. The current shed. Will the city allow two sheds. I assume not because you have not mentioned utilizing it. But I think it would be cool to move that somewhere else and use as storage then the new shop could be a dedicated work shop. I'm planning on a shed so I can get the lawn mowers, atv, shovels, weed whip, etc.etc out of my work space.
  8. Its fake. Maybe gas powered. I could not tell. The lighting was very dark plus the screen was hard to see through. You can see the fake smoke stains on the front though. It looks really looks real. As for the tree Frosty. Its not living but might have been at one time. I really didnt study it at all
  9. Encountered this screen at the Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks in Branson Missouri. The frame has alot of welding beads that are ground down a little to make the outside pattern. There's texturing on all the square tubes. The leaves look lazer cut. Its very cool. The size is what got my attention.
  10. Good luck Thomas. Your on my list
  11. Pic of that please. We love pics:-)
  12. I use my left hand some. Im about half as fast that way but sometimes its fun to change it up. Technicus Joe on youtube has a good vid showing how to forge chain links left then right handed. Fun to watch. It looks natural for him.
  13. Omg. She's beautiful. Not beat up at all. I have anvil envy now along with others I suppose. Your lucky. Count your stars. Nice anvil. You will never find one in that condition ever again unless you pay 10 dollars a pound or more. Enjoy her and put her to work.
  14. How did you get it for free. Our bodyshop has paid top ching for those when we get a super bad hit in.
  15. It will work fine for these operations. You dont even need an extra battery because they charge up in less then 10 minutes
  16. Wow. Your anvil is is better shape then i thought. So its only gonna take some small modifications to make it work for you. Heres a before and after of mine. I used it for 2 years before cleaning it up. I did put a couple small welds in the deeper chips. It works good for me now.
  17. I love it. The wheels are awesome along with the vintage slack tub. Fire that baby up and get to beatin hot steel. Whoo hoo:-)
  18. Going to shorten up the stump an inch. She left her mark :-) Thats only usage. No torch etc.
  19. These were inside where the fan is? How big is the band. Could it be used to hold the hose on the air outlet. I dought they belong inside.
  20. I love the anvil clock and the old time phone. Awesome
  21. To me that is the best thing ever. Built from things you use then put back to work for your job. Awesome !!!!!!
  22. Hows it going down there.
  23. Use and enjoy your anvil. It might not perfect, but trust me, you will have fun with it . Your lucky. Some of us are using things alot less anvil shaped then yours and still make good stuff.
