New knee for Sheila

Featured Replies

Hello IFI Family - Mrs Taylor goes into Hospital tomorrow to have a new knee installed. She will appreciate knowing that the Gang here will have her in their thoughts, prayers, and intentions.

Thanks!

Robert and Sheila Taylor

Prayers for her and a speedy and full recovery.

Robert & Sheila Taylor,

You bet she will be in my & Margaret's prayers and intentions!

Knee replacements often are better than the original.

Regards, and all the best good luck.

SLAG.

& Marg, (of course).

It'll be my honor and pleasure to offer my prayers for Sheila's successful surgery and speedy recovery. You're in there too Robert as are your family and friends.

These things are starting to go so well they make you walk from the operating theater too your room, pack and go home.

See you at the skate park Friday, Frosty The Lucky.

Thanks to all - you all are in a place of honor in Sheila's heart. Your prayers and intentions will be a powerful salve in her speedy recovery.

My mother went through knee surgery successfully twice I'm sure Sheila has great odds. :)

I trust you will be getting into training already...you will not be able to keep up with Sheila when its done!

My thoughts and best wishes with you both.

Just now wheeled her in to surgery, and there goes Dr. Hacker (real name, no kidding).

My prayers for a speedy recovery for Sheila and for strength for her caregiver....

Greetings,

I wish Sheila well with her surgery. I will put her on my prayer list.

Forge on and make beautiful things

Last fall, my mother had her knee replaced and she was home the next day.  I know what it's like to worry about the person you love, my prayers are with you.  Scott.

Out of surgery and a complete success at this point, now must wait to be with my darling wife.

She'll be back to kicking butt in no time!

OK, just amazing! Mrs. Taylor woke up laughing, and has been throwing out one-liners non-stop. In LESS pain already than prior to surgery, and very impressive mobility. Already been on her first walk.

Thanks for your support!

I'm smiling here, I LOVE good news! We should find a place to have a custom Iforgeiron soccer ball made for her.

Laughing and joking is the kind of recovery room experience I want to hear about. Almost makes me wish I needed a couple joints replaced. Oh well.

VBG Frosty!

We all like good news! Best wishes for a complete recovery.

Robert, I'm sure your wife will do wonderfully.  Mine had both of her's done 12 years ago at age 60 and still going strong.  The absence of pain will be a wonderment to her.

Good News !!

SLAG.

Mrs Taylor is home and she decided that she is done with the walker. The physical therapist came and said, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT YET!" Great therapist, her point being that one fall will put asunder all of the surgeon's beautiful work.

So, Sheila must now "escort" the brand new walker around our cottage to make it feel useful. Bad Girl!

And thanks again to all. Precious.
