  9. Nice find! I like the look after your acid treatment. It would be nice to find out the age and steel type. too bad you couldn't make out the names on them.
  10. Nice score! I could be wrong, but I don't think PW's have serial numbers...at least mine don't.
  11. Looks good for a first attempt, your braid came out great. but...won't your head (tomahawk) sling off the first time you swing it? Or do you have it secured somehow? Also...welcome!
  12. "just need to find a good source. Any help there?" As far as a source, Jantz Supply has the o-1 & 1095, and NJ Steel Baron carries the W2. There is also a great list in the knife section
  13. Cool. I have thought about a hoof pick with a sharpened edge on the inside of the curve. My dad does a lot of senior's roping in NM and Arizona, might be a handy combo... Btw, welcome!
  14. Jcornell, There was just another post on this type under "Second folder...", which you may have read. We where discussing the safety issue a little, and what might be a way of making a locking blade. I like your design, so its at least in a channel. Nice options and work!! Great use of the "vote for me" signs! Makes them good for something! ;)
  15. Love the patern! Nice!
  16. Wow, thats already a lot of work! Very impressed... Can't wait till you finish.
  17. Nice, and Nice!! Both. Love the wooden scabbard!
