  1. Nice looking pair! Like the skinner.
  2. Thanks for a "peek behind the curtain"! Ever thought of doing a video? Would love to see your craft in video format.
  3. The sheath was worth the wait. Nice pairing!
  4. Robert, she's a keeper to be shure! You can show this one off. :) ! I've always been nervous of knives without some sort of hand guard, but thats just me.
  5. Congrats, Otto! Looks nice. your forge, looks like a N.C. Tool Knifemaker? Got one looks like it.
  6. My Peter Wright is a 100# w/ a 7/8" hardy. Not uncommon for the smaller anvils.
  7. Jeff, is this what you are talking about? Sorry for the glare. If a better photo is needed, I can try again outside. :d
  8. The "TFS" could be Texas Farrier Supplie, but I don't know how long they have been making anvils, and that one seems older... I'm sure the experts here can varify...
  9. Looks like a good job, Jerry! Clean, sraight and good looking.
  10. Nice looking! Love the elder burl. Do you make the sheaths as well?
  11. Looks good, Paul! Should work fine. ; :)
  12. If you can test out rebound before purchase, I'd jump on it fast.
  13. Do like the finish and the texture! Very nice!
  14. ^^^ Frosty, sounds like another t-shirt in the make for Glenn to work up...? maybe ideas now for the graphics... ;)
  15. Chris, Mind boggling! (sp?) Love your work, nice job! Dennis
  16. Glen with gs tongs also has a nice pair. So many options. John, I like your top set, they look very sturdy!
  17. Here's from this last weekend gleen of a garage sale. After cleaning a little bit, a ball pein, and a couple of items some of you will remember...an old tire hot patch clamp and a Ferguson wrench for the tractor parts / attachments. Thinking of the patch clamp, maybe good for clamping knife handles after gluing??...dono...
  18. Thanks Alec/Brian! The visual helps. I agree that we should question the "status quo" to see if there is a better way to build a mouse trap-so to say. despite 'intense discussions', it was a learning post, and may continue some... Thanks again to all.
  19. Those are mine as well! may try out a pair today if the wind stops...
  20. It's good to see rams head survived! :) Good test Basher! It looks like you got a great weld on it! thanks for the visual.
