  1. what alloy of Titanium?, there are very few pure Titanium blocks around

  3. My son is working on a project and would like info on what the price of steel was in the Southern USA in 1905
  4. the pattern seen in SOME blades is from using multiple kinds of steels to forge weld the patterns into the steel, because different stels react differebtly to the acid, the etching only shows what is already there. Mono steels wont show anything
  5. Using non standard formats is not recommended. if you wish people to actually see your photo use GIF or JPG formats

  9. I am going by what I was told when working the burn unit nearly 20 years ago, 3rd was classified as complete destruction of tissue, not just skin layers, maybe they have changed things since then

  15. my leg made squishy sounds when I was shot by a Beman air rifle too
  16. We have that program here also. There are 4 cats in the area and we put out water when its hot out, and a little food in winter to assist. In addition to the notch in the ears to ID them, they also get their shots and they are registered as "neighborhood cats" They do seem to keep other animals away and keep rodents down. One of them even likes us enough that she will come up and meow at us for a belly rub.
