  1. Wait until Thomas find out that wasnt really preschool programming but was CNN
  2. I should mention that I paid $400 for these speakers, While the new MSRP is $3,200
  3. I use my mig to weld the ends closed, I suggest you read through the knife making classes about forge welding
  4. I am glad he is doing well. Jo Anne better have that sale soon, Thomas will be home before ya know it
  5. I was in the right place and right time for an upgrade I could not pass up Klipsch Heresy series 2
  6. borrow an amp meter and see what is happening before spending the cash and effort on changing the breaker
  7. I use industrial coke for forge welding. looks like thumb sized lava rocks. To start my fires I use newspaper wadded into a ball, and start a normal bituminous coal fire and add the coke after it gets going.
  8. Amp meter will tell you how much power you are pulling. A 5Hp motor should be around 39.1 amps at 120 volts plus the VFD circuity adds a little more because transference isnt 100% efficient . Kinda weird that its only after 20 minutes, that makes me assume that something is heating up the circuit; increasing resistance and further heating the wire increasing resistance again, etc, that causes the overload. Also you didnt say what amperage for your sub panel, or what other loads are on it, assuming your VFD is set up correctly I would look into more mouse connection problems with all those splices, If it is wired correctly the mice should not be able to get near the wiring
  9. I remember when they removed my tumor they lost me for about 20 minutes due to an allergic reaction to the anesthetic. It was benign and about 2cm x 7cm glad its gone, but mine was on the outside of my skull. so easy to remove. I am glad they found that bugger in Thomas in time
  10. Buy the auto dimming, you will thank us for it and kick yourself for not doing it sooner
  11. could have just used a block of mild steel ? so sad
  12. we used to camp from early spring til about Halloween, but now its Holiday Inn, I like having hot showers
  13. In case I never said it before, I love your work
  14. you still have not told us hot hot before the quench
  15. Remember Frosty that not everyone that reads this forum is reading it in English. Translations can go weird when incorrect terms are used
  16. Are you sure its 5160? Some suppliers like Admiral steel didnt always send what was ordered. They got me once when I ordered L6 and they sent something else, a low alloy called 8670m How are you hardening it? you didnt say
  17. except in testing, many 5 min epoxy's fail after only a few years
  18. You may want to correct your usage of the term tempering to hardening, They are not the same thing, and its confusing to use a technical term incorrectly in a technical format
  19. I suggest you read through the knife making classes, this has already been covered there
