  3. About 25 years ago, I was changing a basement electrical panel when (I found out later) lightning struck the pole transformer outside. Even though the conductors were not connected to the panel, the neutral and ground were, I was thrown across the room into the other electrician I was working with. I was still dazed 20 minutes or so later.

  8. For someone only wanting advanced information and not basics, you seem to have missed some basic things, like you dont normally buy a forge to melt metals, you want to use a furnace, and using extruded alloys like Al Cans are made from, are not suitable for casting. but what do I know

  13. I cant imagine how a microwave smelter could work, how do you feed the ore when its operational? where does the dross bleed off too? so many problems there

  15. the conduit for the ground wire is to protect the wire from being damaged, it should go all the way to the dirt
  16. Ground wire is going to get cut installed that way. You need to change the conduit to go straight down into the dirt at the wall and travel underground to the ground rods from there. I dont see any straps on the conduit. The rest looks good.

  18. this makes no sense, 2x72 is a belt size, and has nothing to do with any radius of a finished product, I have attachments from 5/8 to a 34 inch diameter radius for my 2x72 and I could have gotten a 48 inch as well
  19. Mercurochrome was also in common use when we were kids. Cocaine was used to relieve tooth aches as well
  20. I did my wootz the sorta easy way, 5160 and cast iron, and store bought crucible
