Frosty Is Not Feeling Well

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, I got a short message and call from Frosty, he was just in the hospital with a nasty virus, didn't say what, but he is out now, resting and recuperating at home.  He wants the gang to know, in case he's not posting much.  I'm sure he'd appreciate some kind words, thoughts and prayers.

  Scott

Hope he gets better soon.

Thanks for letting us know Scott.

Thanks for the knowledge Scott.

Do him our best wishes and our get well soon kisses

Hey gang I just stopped in to let you know I'm getting better fast now but I'll probably not be online much, looking as the monitor is giving me a headache and I've only been looking at it for less than a minute,

I was feeling kind of punky Tuesday and Wednesday I was in serious distress so we went to a doc in the box who sent us to the ER. After about 3 hours of labs they sent us home, it appears to be a virus, not covid, flu or the other one that's causing problems. So, I've been home laying in bed under the electric blanket. I MADE Deb go to Soldotna for the two day Nosework trial this morning. I'm on the mend.

Thanks for calling Scott not only was it good to hear you, it broke up a pretty uninteresting day, passing on word to the gang made me feel better too. I couldn't have looked at my monitor yesterday and am writing this in two goes with a break in between. I'm also mostly looking at the keyboard instead of the screen.

Thats about all I have for now.

Frosty The Lucky.

Sorry you are feeling poorly my friend.  I know how you feel all too well, unfortunately.  Similar cold that I'm just now coming out of after 3 weeks.  Rest up and get through it.

Hang in there, Jerry.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  Glad that you are on the mend but take all the time you need.

George

Джер, скорейшего выздоровления!

Prayers and well wishes, Frosty.

You're a wellspring of knowledge and joy here and in life.

My wife swears by ginger and tumeric tea to beat anything; I have to admit that it works, or perhaps her letting up on me when I drink it works...

Hey Jer, very sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly. Rest, nutrition & attitude go a long way to supporting our body's remarkable abilities to heal. You are certainly in our thoughts and prayers!

Better give that virus a warning though: it's messing with someone who has beaten back a TBI, so maybe it ought to just find another easier host to mess with...not Deb of course!

Translated "Jer, get well soon."

My feelings exactly.

I will ring the anvil in the Celtic garden to help speed your recovery.

It was good to talk to you although I can't manage to stay on topic, even on a call.....:).   I hope you are improving now.

Another round of thoughts and prayers for you Jer, your presence around here is missed!!

Feel better soon, Jer. Just remember: enough garlic will either cure you or make people leave you alone!

I just better let you know, Gina's rooting for you.

Wasn't on much last week and missed this topic clean. Glad you're out of the hospital and hope you're doing worlds better. We all came down with something similar here last week and it was the kind of sick I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy's mother-in-law.

Thanks again everybody, I'm pretty much up to speed again and I can't tell you how much it means to me to have so many people pulling for me. As far as I've heard it meets the symptoms for cellulitis but won't know till the cultures are done culturing up. Happily it isn't contagious so I don't have to share.

I would've been garlicing up but didn't get to do  more than pick off a menu of hospital "food". <sigh>

I love Gina's expression, seems she's saying, "him AGAIN?" Give her a good ear skritching for me please, she's obviously earning that much at least.

On the upside I've lost much taste for heavy foods, a hard boiled egg about stuffs me so maybe I'll keep dropping lbs. :).

Thanks again everybody,

Frosty The Lucky.
