  3. They are out there. Last fall I snagged a very nice lakeside 86 pound anvil for 125 . It's just a matter of keeping an eye open and avoiding paying ebay prices. Finnr

  5. Sorry It has taken me so long to get a response in here. The hook tools I use on my pole lathe are made from coil spring.They hold up very well turning green wood as most of those lathes were used for. Finnr

  14. Number for sure on the Lakeside is L97100. Just did the chalk thing over it and it shows up plain as day. Maybe the mystery anvil is Trenton made. Thanks a bunch Guys Finnr

  16. eyrian, you can us a piece of pipe to dish your spoon or you can dish it right in teh hardy hole of your anvil. Any depression will serve. Finnr
  17. The tube dishing tools can be easily made from various sizes of Schedule 40 pipe. That sweet little dishing hammer is now on my list of hammers to make. The tool used in the first segment is a monkey tool . Just a hole the size of your tenon drilled into a piece of bar stock. It should also have a small hole drilled in from the side to let out crud. While the maker was doing assembly he also used a rivet tool to be sure that his pieces were seated properly on the tenon. Scrolling pliers are fairly easy to make . Just small tongs with conical grippers. You can also modify a pair of cheap needle nose pliers. Does that cover all of it? Finnr
