  1. the pan is a CAST Iron rivet forge as a welder its not worth welding back together & has no fire pot just make a steel pan with a fire pot & you will have a good forge that will last, now the blower is worth fixing
  2. NICE JOB !! Spears ? Would a thicker cut out pattern stand up longer ? also have you tried this in a press set up ? I really like the Idea ! Thanks for posting

LOL thats a nice piece of eqt ! keep it -- no I can't help you unless I can have it to grind anvils flat :P if you can't get it to go forward or back sounds like the table stops are not adjusted right ? up & down working right ? I have a Machinist friend here I can ask him, who made it ? any info on it ? HAY just bring it down here & will get it working NO problem ! will get the Mike,s over done deal :D Chad looking for a reason to have a hammer in :) Me to :)

  9. Hmm you mite be a blacksmith when you open up you're closet & on one side is the wife's shoes and such, on you're side hammer & tong racks, leathers Oh & boots  if there's an anvil in there you need to get help, and put it back in the shop :P

  13. ciladog ? is the Tig torch also running on Nitrogen for that weld ? or Ar -- or either one will work ? I have never used Nitrogen yet in my Tig welding but always looking for other ways things are done Thanks
  14. whats it for ? you mite think about Teflon bearing maybe depending on use
  15. MAKE A RING ROLLER TOOL if you need production !-- easy tool to make - cut a circle out of plate the ID size - stock thichness you need ring to be - drill center hold in + holes to bolt down circle to weld table or jib bottom plate witch is bigger than circle make a FB handle have bolt @ end that gos into center hole of circle now put stock next to circle find a good roller bearing drill bolt hole for it install on handle now you can rotate 360 degs / TO roll ring you just need a pin to hold the end of the ring in place to roll - you will need to know the right leanth of stock to roll + you mite also have to make a jig to hold ring closed to weld - this set up works well jigs / circle can be made out of wood depending ? this is just like a deco bender set up made right if you need another ring size then make circle plate for it re-adjust bearing placement and go :D you roll about anything as long as you're circle / die is right for the job
  16. THANKS for the post ! I learned a bit of whats going on in tire :) I have done alot of frozen lug nuts over the years ! carefully ! now will have a water hose there to and keep all heat to a mim + I am thinking on a lug nut heat shield thing so lug nut is the only thing that gets warm
