I am a certified pastry chef and grew up working in kitchens. I do dutch oven competitions ( won AZ state championship one year). I brew beer. Other than that I am a jsck of all trades but master of none

When I worked in kitchtens we used mayonaise jar lids (gal. size) wax paper on the bottom and top and press the lid ovet to form the patty very quick and very cheap.

Never heard of oil coke is it formed by burning crude?

Have you looked a chili forges? I have seen them work and have seen them used for pattern welding as well as mosic (sp) welding. Check tham out. He also sells burners etc.

How well do the tong hold the blade while you hammer on the stock? They look unique.

I agree with the rest of the folks I wet my coal and put it on the fire wet and let it dry out. You can make "mud" out of the dust and it will coke up as it drys and that saves money.

Napkin rings cut the pipe in approx. 1.5 to 2 inch widths. Slide the rings over a smaller diam. piece of steel and hammer to give texture. If you cut the copper pipe on diaginal it gives it a different dimention.

Frosty sounds great but I dont have a lathe I use a 3 hole gizmo with long handles. I thread the stock through a piece of 1" pipe and that helps it stay stright (I cut a window in the pipe so I can see how the twist is progressing). Then twist til it looks right and finish. Thanks William
