I am an Italian blacksmith, I found this site really incredible for the many information it contains.

I hope not to disturb with my incompetence.

I'm sorry but I do not know English well, I use the google translator.

I hope to use appropriate words, in case I send the text in Italian.

Adry, there is a lot to learn on the site and everyone wants to help.

Photographs are the best explanation you can provide when asking questions. Show us the problem and we can solve it.

Again that is funny. Take the money!  This is a hobby for me so I really just make things that I like and if someone wants to pay me for it All the better. Helps pay for some more tools, steel and coal to make more.

You'r translations seem fine. Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing.

If you haven't guessed yet, we love pictures. ;)

Welcome aboard Adry, glad to have you.

Google translation program is working fine for here. Or at least I THINK it is. I think I know what you're saying. We're all trying to climb a couple learning curves on Iforge. First one is the Iforge.com forum itself. It keeps changing so we'll all catching up. Just keep the language and subjects clean enough you'd let your 5 year old daughter s[ed the day looking at and reading without worrying about having to explain grownup things.

Explaining weird blacksmithing pictures, spelling, etc. is what the site is all about. Well, we're here to help each other out.

The Iforge web search engine stinks like a big fresh lawn cigar. Use your favorite internet search engine and insert Iforge iron in the search terms and it'll search and link you with the site. Make sense? My stupid web browser, "Google Chrome" keeps UP? dating my platform without permission permission of sense, every time I turn it on/ So I'm never sure what MY computer is up to. I just try to sort through what' it's doing this morning.

Okay your most recent post just notified me and after taking a look.

HOLY MOLY!!!  YOU DO SOME BEAUTIFUL WORK ! ! !  Can this sometimes humble hobbyist sit back and see what I can learn from you?

Bravissimo Adriano!

I haven't seen this kind of work for a long time.

No knifes?

Only kidding.

My father was born in Florence. My blacksmith teacher in Lombardia. Do you get the new re introduced brown bears there?

Keep on posting. May be a video of you making something.

Mi raccomando Adriano ... sempre in gamba :)

I thank you all.
I'm very embarrassed, I didn't think the forum was so active.
I must apologize, I sent some pictures without even looking at them.
Unfortunately work and forge consumes of expensive coal.
I promise I'll ship whatever you want of my work, as I understand it, especially the middle stages of design and craft.
Thank you again ... but my works are ugly.

We are most likely our own worse critics.

I find your work pleasant to look at, complex and intriguing, and it screams ... long hours!

i hope you get good money for them.

Clearly not ugly.

As for the person in that photo ... :P

I acknowledge your calling your work "ugly" and grant you a sufficient modesty to qualify for the title of master BSer.  (That's a story teller)

We're our own harshest critics, our eyes drawn to every flaw even when minor if any.

However, I'm often wrong and these examples may well be ugly compared to your beautiful work. May we see some please?

Frosty The Lucky.

Thank you, for the nice words, I needed it.
This morning my wife scolded me for the reason I do not have enough money, the bills arrive every month, while my customers pay when they can.
