Lionel h
Yes lovely, was it recovered from a shipwreck? I love history , too bad we can't find out much about this anvil.
Glenn
It may be an anvil, it may be a boat anchor. Scrape the barnacles off before you make an offer to buy.
JT
I don't know any more about it.. the seller just says the condition is amazing !! and he has only done a little work with a wire wheel.. and it may have some value to a beginner blacksmith !! he is accepting offers between now and the beginning of August.. Hammerfall
That's cool! I'd clean up the face and leave the rest alone.
Thief_Of_Navarre
I'd leave it in the ocean and take periodic dives to check on it!
Daswulf
Offer him 50 sand dollars for it

SLAG
Fellow Denizens, It is time to employ the "barnacle rebound bounce test", for a determination of its value. Good luck! SLAG.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
It's an anvil from the Lost City of Atlantis, reportedly to be off the coast of Florida.
JHCC
A quick dip in the waters of the Fountain of Youth will make it sparkle like new!
Lou L
This isn't too far from me. I'm considering a low offer...I do t believe many people will be interested in it. If a can get it for $125 it will, in the very least, make an excellent beater. It would be cheaper than that weight in mild steel around here.
