Nope, not this year I spent that week of Vacation going to my Grandfather's 90th birthday; if I count my tentacles right his 20th was during the battle of Iwo Jima where he was a marine... Next year may be a bit iffy too as my daughter graduates Vet School and I would like to attend that!

I finally got registered  for Quadstate this year, ya sure you aint coming Thomas? Should find me and my book with Wayne Coe

Just got back from my second week long vacation this year so I am tapped out for days off for the rest of the year.  

Steve, I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone else who is going to be there stop by and visit.  We will have more fun than a train wreck.

My wife reminded me that next year is my Daughter's graduation from Vet School and if I missed that I would be put down... So I'm missing this year and probably next year as well sigh. (gotta talk with my boss about more vacation time...)  I really liked going through the concord grape area of Missouri on the way there and back and stocking up on way too many grapes to eat while driving.

I'll be there also.

Hi my name is Mark, I'm new to blacksmithing and I really want to go to quadstate but don't have anyone to go with me just wondering if anyone is passing through Charlotte nc would be interested in having me join you, or i can meet within a couple hours of here if there is a safe place for my car, I can send you my number if you want to screen me first, but I'm a good traveler no drama go with the flow type. 

 

I'll be there too......look forward to meeting those I do not know.

I have the Saturday afternoon spot...........if you wish to see anything demonstrated let me know so I can pack.

My wife has suggested I skip the Colorado campout next year and go for SOFA; funny how visiting two sets of kids/grandkids along the way changes the equation...

 I can only go for one day. Still not sure if it will be Thursday or Friday. Mostly just to hit the tailgating again this year. See ya there.........        Dave

Final loading today.  Heading out by 4 am tomorrow.  10+ hour drive for me.

around 1500 miles for me when I get to go...  Drive safe and dry weather!  (I've done Quad-State when it was in the 90's and when I had ice in my water bucket when I got up in the morning.  High winds and heavy rains were the most uncomfortable ones.)
