YEA we had a Opps here on a bridge a over height crane truck made it halfway across the river before the the truck & the bridge became ONE it took 3 years to replace that bridge & the detour was a PAIN !!! I did get some I beam out of it made welding tables for the schools welding shop they use today Steve's Welding & Fab

for my 2 cent's -- it looks usable @ whatever shop its @ so GO try it am sure the smith selling it would show you how to run it safely & what it can do anytime I get near someone PH I ask them if I can run it a bit to see how it compares to other PH I have had the chance to work on

hay folks I need some in put Ideas i mite ? have a job that requires me to bend 1/2" sq tube thin wall 095 or so tc -- @ 90 degs with a inside raidus of 1" x 100 bends + the finish unit is 3' x 3' sq that will be a cage frame I have a hosfeild bender also a dicro bender no sq tube dies to do this YET will have to machine them any Idea on how to do this project ?? another way ?? I also have a H beam press 65 ton no tooling for this But ? can make THANKS a lot ! Steve's welding

I like when things go wrong first thing I KNOW is Murphy is here !!! again Now what do I need to do to get rid of Murphy & More important WHAT is he showing me I an MISSING ? tooling from & so on ? this also go for my day job welder fab guy if you work for youre self you learn !!!!!!!!!! when I cant take it anymore I put a chunk of steel under the PH & all is GOOD no Idea what chunk will be ? but I will learn from it PS someday there WILL be a desk top computer or smart Ph under the hammer !!! A hate & love thing PS # 2 steel does that steel does you cant change that ! But you can learn to fallow it

also if you have a high school near by that Still has a welding class ?? thats a good place to give rod to if you learn to run old rods then when you get New roods the Light go's on & if there 6010 Thats a real good rod to learn on there picky until you understand them !! after you can run that rod its easy street

I still look back to this day about a 3 min interview in a mom & pop welding shop Yep you're hired start welding today WHAT ? LOL still had a trucking job elsewhere I really like & had to quite I like to drive going the trucker way as a kid then Didn't know anything about welding !!!!!!!!! but there was a hidden talent a need that took years for me to understand not even sure if they saw that but they saw part of it that I know now so now i look for that in kids & anyone that has the Want ! & the Need ! for steel & HOT stuff & I thank all the folks here for adding to that NEED of mine ! what I see Wrong !! is the shops are gone from the schools mostly & that will come back & bite the USA That Must change ! when you have tell a person what a screw drive is were in BIG trouble !

when my mind go's blank its time to change / fill ink carriage spent my school years in the shops elec 6 years & wood & machine & drafting LOL NO not auto I hate to work on cars !!! thought I can mostly mine I was a straight D student NO interest in the 3 R's -- was the go to kid in the shops though ! A+

Frosty & Mike Thanks for the look @ you're brick pile forges !!! I have built the bottom parts a year back or so then parked that forge project need a cart next & started another P forge we use now LOL that is setting on the floor piece of the brick pile forge & have a third P forge shell welded up but work keeps getting in the way LOL to finish those projects & I keep starting new projects / tools & eqt
