September 5, 20223 yr I've speculated that the rather common flattening of anvil bicks that is seen may be due to 1 "OUCH" too many. The smith flattening the offending bick with a hammer afterwards.

A nice fellow in Spokane was making nice double enders with a severely blunted horn. I wound up selling it because a pretty sharp horn tip is important to me..
