My shop with smithy in it was big enough
My shop with the woodworking corner and smithy was big enough.
My shop with the leather working corner, wood working corner and smithy was big emough.

Now my friends want to add some armoring equipment and put in an electric stove.

It's getting a bit tight in there.

Mine sill lacks the upright post, the beams, and the roof. Other than that it is plenty big enough!:)
I have 60 acres of shop space. (Some of it is steep bluffs so I actualy have a little less than 60 acres.) :)

My shop is in half of my 2 car garage, and i've squezed a very large amount of equipment in a small space. Once I can get my brother to get his convertible out of my garage I should have a whole 2 car garage =)

Tharkis' workshop !

My forge shop is 8ft.x16ft.
Half of it is filled with 'stock'.
I have the materials on site to build a 12 ft.x 20 ft. shop.
I will leave the stock in the old shop.
No, the new shop will not be large enough.

My unfinished new shop is 30' x 40' x 14' to the eaves and it's already getting crowded. Should be large enough for a while though.

nope none of my shops are big enuf ive got a 15x15 building at the museum (too small not enuf display space). ive got a shop at home with a 12x12 building and a 10 ft awning attached and stuff all over in the open...and my portable shop is in my 18 ft inclosed trailer (home made) .the only one that is big enuf is the portable ...mostly cause anything bigger is to much to setup(18 ft sq marquee tent ) ... but i am a firm believer in you expand to fit any shop space you setup...

As long as I don't bring home any new tool bigger than a small screwdriver I should be ok.

Not even close....but it's dry, anything more than that is just a luxery any way.

Is your shop big enough?

~~~~No~~;)
Now that I'm not parking the van inside it's about right but when I move it back in then it's much more crowded. I can still work but have to be more careful.
Mine isn't even finished yet and it's too small! LOL
In The Movie Iron Man ;Tony Stark's Shop Was To Small , And He's A Fictional Bazzillionaire! :P
p.s. HECK YEA MY SHOP IS TO SMALL ;BUT I LIKE IT!
NO! I now work on a corner of the patio and wonder why I even kept what little equipment I did. Being retired/disabled truly sucks like a Eureka.
no way my shop is tiny, i have roughly 2 feet by 8 feet of free space and everything else is ttols anvils drill press and grinder table workbenches forges etc. etc. kiln clay spinning wheel thingy (my grandmas) all stuffed in between my house and water tank.
my new shop is ganno be to small, but its all the space i have availebel, but i 'm thinking of ideas to save space, like hanging stock to the roof with a pully etc..
Had an outdoor only setup... got wet...
Built a 6x8 shed... too small...
Moved and built a 10x12 shop... okay... but still too small...
Now have 20x24 shop... with 6x8 glass room in corner....
Designed it to take everything I thought I might need for a 1 man operation.... but..... putting in those items is definitely shrinking the space.... still, should keep me satisfied for many years... (I HOPE!)
I don't have a shop, I have a 30'x 30' toolbox!
LOL, Teejay. Thats about what I have. Its a one car garage full of tools, machines and metal that cover any flat surface that might be a work top. I have to "go outside to change my mind." :D
Shop should be big enough: 30' wide X 45' or so deep X 30' tall (old tobacco barn) although the more space we make the more "stuff" we find. :)
I'm thinking mine will be large enough 32' x 70'. Converted from a church built in 1956, burned down once under suspicious circumstances. Should have it complete by mid August. It'll take a few months to fill this one up. Last one was 10' x 12'.
