Looks like a very fine 122 pound MH. I think that mark is a British Military acceptance Broad Arrow.
You might want to edit your post and reduce the size of your pictures. While in edit double click on the pictures and a window will open. I usually select 500 for the width and tab over for the other size which will select the best one automatically.
There were some amazing overtones and undertones that my wife pointed out. Picked out at least a dozen tones. Some of us can't hear the higher pitched tones, even with my hearing aids.

I don't believe I could spend $400 U.S. for half an anvil. Now if they had the broken base that could be welded back on, that might be a different story. Not sure if Trenton used wrought iron for the base though.
Have him take a look at this thread, the only way to "fix it right" IMO.

You're welcome Kacy. It was pure luck that I remembered the star as a Swedish makers mark, Forgot it was used by Kohlswa. You have a premier anvil to say the least. They ring so loudly because they are cast steel and a lot of us have found out to quiet the ring, is to set the anvil with cheap latex calking compound between the base and anvil stand. Doing that will tone it down but not effect the rebound at all.
Yes, 1 part wax, 1 part turps, 1/2 part BLO also seen the amount of Japan Drier described as a generous pour so I'm not sure it's critical as to the amount of JD. If I remember right the first three parts were in cups.

Look up Medi-Lyte, they are replacement for salt tablets. We use them for hydration and electrolyte replacement. Much better than Gator Aid. If you have medical problems check with your doctor (ours recommended them for us).
Just keep in mind that charcoal takes a lot less air than coal. A constant air supply, like with an electric blower, will result in using too much charcoal and actually a cooler fire. So you will need a way to control the air supply.

I believe Centaur Forge added that disclaimer after several of our members had problems with their Kanca anvils. I don't remember seeing it prior to then.
