    Plain ole fashioned ants are great too bury a bone in any ant hill and it will be slick in a short time. Word of warning though set a milk crate over the top to keep critters from "borrowing " your future handle material. Finnr

    I weld all the way around a nut with a bolt in place to keep the threads clear. I use duct tape on the bolt so I can save it. Finnr

    the best place to find any smithing tools is your local club or guild. Often hammer ins also have a good section of tail gaters selling nearly anything you can imagine . Finnr

    Most often I work from a plan, though sometimes I just let the the project happen as I go. Fun but not the most economical method in time for sure. Finnr

    I pretty much use the recommended sizes with reasonable results. It won't do near as well as my 220 welder, but that's at my mom's place and not here. I have the same problem with an outlet that you have until I get a shop finished. I have run 6013 and 7018ac mainly. Finnr

    I have that model and have had no trouble with it that wasn't my own fault.Decent cheap welder and it does what I have to do on light items. Finnr
