  1. Great news! I wish you a speedy and pain free recovery.
  2. That 'repair' is probably close to what would have been done in that 'era' of manufacture! You know pre- grill, crisp and steam ability?

    Whoa, there seems too clean
  4. Close one tonight, the Welsh chucked in everything and just couldn't get past the Wallaby defense, came incredibly close though!
  5. Strange as it may sound , Ice Hockey actually. However one of my sons is a rugby coach and My first visit to the USA was in 1994, soccer world cup.
  6. A handy conversion is to modify the sanding disc holder to take a disc grinder arbor and then use 9" grinder discs in it.
  7. The machine itself is not really that relevant it's the design of the torch i.e. A Binzel torch, many brands use a design or clone/copy of say Binzel's design. Take the torch and hose off, and take it in, the guys in the shop should be able to tell you what type it is! (presuming they are worth their salt that is) and this will help you in future when buying consumables.
  8. Not wishing to specifically refer to tonight's USA v RSA game, however is the world cup games of interest to you lot in the USA? And hasn't Japan been quite the surprise team?
  9. nah, you're just a bunch of 'ol meanies' whotcha mean research it? I Googled it and watched a YouTube video, of course I understand quantum mechanics besides Sheldon Cooper makes it seem so easy! Besides I saw on xxxx Chanel they made an entire wootz sword from sand and er. Glass I think in just half an hour. So I'm going to make one! I don't have sand like theirs handy so I'm going to use brown sugar cause it looks similar, and my mom won't let me use real glass so i'll use a clear plastic milkshake cup from the fast food joint cause it does the same thing? So why not? Now when I've done forging it, will it shear or just cut a meteorite? Please don't waffle or use facts to back up your opinion, show your intelligence by concurring with me! Sound familiar gents
  10. Frosty, a small question..... do all skinks in Alaska have those funny ears?
  11. Welcome, if it turns out to be quite shallow the wading might be less 'interesting' though!
  12. This may seem like odd advice but the first round in your gun should be 'full metal jacket' dumdums, hollow points, ball etc. After. So should you shoot yourself in the foot or elsewhere, whilst not ideal its preferable to have a nice clean wound. With regards an intended target always follow up that first shot!
  13. Smoggy, I like the fact that you are open to revealing your innermost secrets you probably wear an apron on occasion as well , but you seem to be/ were getting off subject Nice cover even if a bit obvious Alan!
  14. with a straight razor? Charles you got to stop smoking that grass! Especially if it has been preprocessed by a horse Those are nice blades and whatever was charged it was probably too little.
  15. Obscure at best and I had no idea that Jerry was going to visit you(did he?)
  16. Welcome Smoggy , there's got to be an interesting story behind that name any chance that we'll get to hear it.
  17. That's a handsome shop, I like the 'blackboard doors' too. Just a thought though, storing paint and varnish 'above the sparks' seems counterintuitive as vapors would 'settle ' to the ignition point? I could be wrong.
