ThomasPowers
Get good using the small stuff! I'm gonna post them again: rusty barbwire basket icicles: (Nice thing is that it can be a yearly gift as most trees can take a lot of these ornaments. Frosty
What sorts of intricacies do you feel iron ornaments need? The way you see things might give me new ideas and we'll surely have different ideas for you. Frosty The Lucky.
TWISTEDWILLOW
Today I started making some ornaments to give away this Christmas, On the basket , my forge weld failed and I got angry at it and I used the mig welder… then it still fought me some more an kept trying to crack an come apart when I was drawing out that end so I mig welded it up some more… I think today was just not the day for a basket, it turned out pretty ugly lol, After the basket ticked me off I needed to switch gears so I started making icicles, They are easy to make 5-10 minutes depending on how much you wanna draw it out an how much of a twist you wanna put on it, they are also very light! I had some 1/2”x1/8” flat bar laying around so that’s what I made some with, I plan to make more tomorrow with different twists, I also made my brother a hotdog/ marshmallow fork for one of his Christmas gifts, he spends a lot of the summer time camped out at the lake so I thought he’d like a cookout fork,

Frosty
That's a nice bit of work there Santa, the kayaker is my favorite though the snails are appealing too. Maybe flatten the bottom of the washers next time? Frosty The Lucky.
Les L
Made a couple of bottle openers yesterday, I’m still working on the process and have some refinement to do on them, but I’m going in the right direction

Daswulf
Nice work on all the spike art, forgings and rebar snakes. Les, I like the openers. Are they made from something existing or just stock? I can see that you could expand on them to different critters and stuff. Nice work.
