Labeling the cables and on the scematics is a good thing. Now you know, buy 10+ years later you are glad you have done it. -
What did you do in the shop today?

goods, sound logic that you have to account for that. Probably would made the same mistake as you did. jlc you have a link to that instagram? Not a big user of instagram, but I know a lot can be found on it. -
does it have to be a bloody mask when grinding bones? Or is a clean mask also good? All joking aside, you make some good observations and nothing more to add.

like the look of that ridge as well. Size square tube?

A lot of the chimneys here all have a (stainless) steel pipe in them. Even if they are made from bricks. Easy to sweep, less debris that can catch on all the bricks and mortar in between. My neighbour had a chimney fire. Flame out of the top as well. He burns wood in a fireplace and has his chimney yearly sweeped by a pro. But at the end of the burning season (march) and over 70+ years of fire in the fireplace (house is from 1949, build without central heating, now modified) has left its marks. And halfway something has catched fire. No structural damage, but after inspection he went for the pipe inside. Some mortar between the bricks was flush with soot and creosote even after cleaning. His chimney was still good to use without the pipe, but he didn't trust it anymore. He says he feels the difference on his second floor. It stays cooler, less heat comming of the chimney. My dad had a damper, down just above his fireplace. Kept the cold draft out if closed. If you forgot to open it, you notice very quick. There was no chimney so all the smoke was in the living room. The damper was closed or open. It "fell" down when you opened it, so all debris that went into the chimney from top, fell into the fireplace.

had to forgeweld a firepoker for my teacher. First the baskethandle, than the ball at the end and than the piece that will become the poker itself. (i have to take a picture of the finished product as well, now i think about it) So i just trow the tongparts in the fire as well and voila. i have a tendency of working all my steel in the coalfire at the edge of no-sparks (and unfortunatly sometimes over), so the forgewelding part is "easy" for me somehow. To the frustration of a lot of my collegues. -

Some stuff and bits I did all at once and in between because they are all needed for the same project (you can see the beginning). Also gifts. Tiny keyrings for a secret santa at work. Started from 6mm round. Not really happy with them, they look a bit hasty made (what is the case). Maybe I redo them, it i have time (stay tuned for some more hasty made keyrings) A tool for twisting. The square is for 20mm, the round needs to become square 22mm. I made it from mild steel some 40x10 strip of i think 360mm in length. Draw out the handles by hand to round 12, it is a bit tapered because 1/ lazyness and tiring and 2/ strength. I made also a very cute and tiny springfuller to fuller the transitions from flat to square. I have some space for other squares. No need for them at this moment, so no holes. The stump needs to dry first so it can become my new anvil stand, the one now is to high) Tongs for 20mm. Perfect for 20mm square or 20mm flat. Big stuff. made the hooks at the end wrong, will redo them. I like how they feel. they are made out of 20mm square a piece I was given. And since most tongs start from 20mm, I decided to make 20mm tongs (and buy 6m of square 20). Reigns are forgewelded on (I'm not an idiot trying to draw these out, i have 12mm round laying around). Welded in coalfire, my gasforge is no good for welding. Have to cut to length. So my project involves *drumroll* square 20mm that needs to be twisted. The shovel i made needs handle and i will make a twisted one that i will rivet to the tool. -

Still a lot of insulation to do? I thought you were ready? You feel the difference? I closed the last piece at my home a month ago and it does make big difference (only 6m2 so figure, a tiny piece) -
you have either small feet or a big bolt.

I have same burner (or looks like it). As soon as i open choke it starts to roar and the flame changes. There is no blocking in the small hole of the deliverypipe in the nozzle? The reducer ia working properly? Pressuregauge is in MPa? Asking because I'm not sure and so everybody knows what it is. You have emailed the devil forge?
