Copper, steel and brass. Wished I could have had a couple more heats on the face but ran out of time. I am pretty happy with it. Thanks for looking.

What did you do in the shop today?
I turned an old S7 pill punch into a 1/2” drift for an upcoming furniture project. I then used this square punch I found at the antique store and practiced a few holes. Works good but need to shave the drift a bit as 1/2” stock fits a little too loose.

Eric Thing-style Armor/Bowl Forge
Super cool forge. I take it that you make a lot of bowls but that would be handy for a lot of shapes.

What did you do in the shop today?
Nice. I spent a few hours with a rr spike yoga pose the wife wanted, a specialty hook out of some sort of stainless that will hold a shower head and turned a piece of 1/2” coil spring into billet. My arms are toast. Also spent about 4 hours over the last 2 days with some copper for new piece based on Scotts suggestion. This one is a little bigger at about 8” across. thanks for looking

Nice handle. Good idea on the shear.

sucker rod carbon content?
I think its great to bring up the oldies. That said my favorite punches are made from a sucker rod of unknown composition. They hold up real well if used with care.
