    Nice work, Kendrick. I've never made anything that I was satisfied with. While others might ooh and ah, over an item, the flaws in it would jump right out at me. I'm sure the recipient will be quite happy with your creation. I would be.

    I use a chisel. That's probably not the answer you were looking for. It's just how I do it.

    I also forge my blades very close to the finished product. I enjoy forging steel much more than using a file.
