JHCC Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 If you don't have a convenient place to attach the holder to the stand, make a hook on it so that you can hang it from one of the anvil's holes (whichever one you're not using to punch out the slug). anvil Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 The primary reason I use a pinch of coal dust as a lube is to keep the clutter away from my anvil workspace. Glenn Posted September 15, 2019 Share Posted September 15, 2019 Add a little bit of oil to the anti sieze and stir. Add more oil a little bit at a time with stirring as needed.
