November 27, 201510 yr I've read some pretty good reviews on them from satisfied customers. Retail runs around $700.00 plus shipping. It wouldnt bother me to pay that price if all observation and anvil inspection checks out. Scott
November 27, 201510 yr Author I mean in the pictures it looks pretty clean so Idk just want another opinion
November 27, 201510 yr Good Morning, I think you should pass and send me the contact for the person who has it. There are lots of members here that wouldn't hesitate. Do Not Wait For Spring!!!!! GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!! Neil
November 27, 201510 yr Author Okay lol i arranged to get it saturday just wanted to gather info before hand, i have never used a czech anvil before and have no idea what to look for when it comes to them or problems you may encounter with them
November 27, 201510 yr Excellent find! I would definitely be on the look-out for more smithing tools when you get there. I see two more anvils in the background so you never know what kind of contact you might be able to foster.
November 27, 201510 yr I haven't but I will if you send me the contact info for the guy selling it. that's a nice lookin anvil.
November 27, 201510 yr Author Well I've been told they're softer then other anvils ect, rebound of my haybudden is about 80-85% and the Czech is about 50-60%. I just don't want to be buying something that's a step up from an aso been reading mixed reviews going to just have to get it and give it a try I suppose, and I would das but then I'd be out of another anvil I want a euro style one Edited November 27, 201510 yr by Zyphiza typo

Good find, And good luck with it.
November 27, 201510 yr 50%-60% is stull a huge step up from an ASO. The ones I have seen had almost zero rebound.

November 27, 201510 yr At the end of you day when you buy it, think of it as the start of the collection

November 29, 201510 yr Nice deal on the anvil! I like the old post and beam timbers too. Is that floor joist notches of were the beams repurposed for a different build? it looks as though your shop use to have a suspended floor. Scott
November 29, 201510 yr Author I couldnt tell you sadly i dont know about the floor i only moved here about a year ago but that could be the case
November 29, 201510 yr Looks good! might wanna round off the sharp edges just a tad. up to you. Nice hammers
