scotto
I've read some pretty good reviews on them from satisfied customers. Retail runs around $700.00 plus shipping. It wouldnt bother me to pay that price if all observation and anvil inspection checks out. Scott

Zyphiza
Okay lol i arranged to get it saturday just wanted to gather info before hand, i have never used a czech anvil before and have no idea what to look for when it comes to them or problems you may encounter with them
VaughnT
Excellent find! I would definitely be on the look-out for more smithing tools when you get there. I see two more anvils in the background so you never know what kind of contact you might be able to foster.

Zyphiza
Well I've been told they're softer then other anvils ect, rebound of my haybudden is about 80-85% and the Czech is about 50-60%. I just don't want to be buying something that's a step up from an aso been reading mixed reviews going to just have to get it and give it a try I suppose, and I would das but then I'd be out of another anvil I want a euro style one Edited November 27, 2015 by Zyphiza typo

Good find, And good luck with it.
BIGGUNDOCTOR
50%-60% is stull a huge step up from an ASO. The ones I have seen had almost zero rebound.

scotto
Nice deal on the anvil! I like the old post and beam timbers too. Is that floor joist notches of were the beams repurposed for a different build? it looks as though your shop use to have a suspended floor.
