  1. Voted about a week ago but dang, no nifty stickers here . . . mail-in ballot . I can proudly say, I've never missed a vote since I turned 18 back in '75 ( One of the benefits of never having moved outta the county I was born in!)
  2. Nicely done RI! Well executed. I'm liken' the table it's sitting on as well!
  3. Good on ya for donating your time and talents Tireif! Great looking stakes! I did five years at the Ft. Vancouver National Historic Site and if it weren't for the volunteers, it would be just another collection of dead buildings with static displays. So a hearty second to Curly . . . Keep on volunteering!!
  4. Nice! Leave 'er be . . . you already hit the marks - don't push art too much or you'll lose the intent
  5. ChainMail . . . . Very nicely done!
  6. Nicely done John - Great job on getting the info out there!!
  7. Larry, Tried to send you a PM but your profile isn't accepting new messages. I've got a Yater "B" block that we can talk about - send me a message and I'll reply with the details. Thanks! Neil
  8. We've always called them shed-roof's. "He shed-roofed a spot on his shop to park his tractor", "I shed-roofed a cover for the BBQ" etc. Whatever you label them, call it dry and at least outta the weather. Some sort o' minimal siding would be good for S. OR weather. That rain knows how to work it's way into even the driest buildings. How's the settling in process going?
  9. Really Nice Fe! I love the shot from the back - any chance you could clean up that weld area? The combo of positive and negative spaces from that view are REALLY nice but that weld breaks up the transition a bit Make sure to take pics of that Continental kit when it's finished!
  10. Great news Keith! Please pass on our wishes for a speedy recovery to Denise! Neil & Lauren
  11. Nice job Larry! Your friends will love it!

  13. I second that Glenn! I would hope that any "axes we have to grind" should just be the one's we've forged ourselves!
  14. Nicely done Dave - new ideas for old items is always good. It's been great watching you put your shop together, keep those pics coming. Also, ditto to all o' the above . . . cover it up when you're welding!
  15. Bully is on the list here! Hey, maybe he and Frosty can start up a " I used my head" T-shirt line . . . I got a few friends who would line up for 'em!
  16. Hey Colleen, We just saw this thread - all our hopes for a good recovery - stay diligent on your PT, it'll make all the difference for the future! Neil & Lauren
  17. Not so much for me . . . all I see are the faces of those I've promised to make something or the other for and haven't had time to get to yet . . .
  18. You're on the list here Keith - All our hopes for a good recovery for Denise! Neil & Lauren
  19. Great job on the door Kevan - I expect to see Captain Nemo waltzing through it at any time! Yes on the process pics please!
  20. Nice job Glenn! I'll admit - I've been on the grabbin' end of one o' those so many times it makes me shiver looking at it (actually I gave up using hooks decades ago and just grab strings now) but if I need another one, I'll look you up to make it!
  21. Now that's the spirit! Take what you have to hand and make a working set-up out of it. Nice job!
  22. Great looking work Michael! Good to see that you make time for lunch and a little romp with the pup - very important steps to any well executed work!
