CurleyGeorge, thanks for looking!
nwaite, Yes it's just a chisel & hammer. Random verticle lines.
Marksnagel, make sure you post pics too. Flatten the bottom a bit to make it sit up straight.

A spike cross I just finished for one of my son's friends. He found some spikes and saved them for me. I wanted to make something for him as a thank you. He asked for a cross.
I am so sorry for your loss. As Kenna is now in Heaven with God and is at peace, I continue to pray for you and all of her family. I pray that God's perfect peace and grace will be with you all in the times to come.

Thanks everyone.
Prof, no real pattern. It's a typical Fredrick's cross (or split cross). I know there are instructions on this site on how to make one. I just shaped mine and used a chisel for texturing. It's textured that way on both sides.
Thanks for looking & the comments.

Thanks. The texturing is just a lot of chisel work.
The bar in the back is the handle portion of a steak turner I made. It has a bottle opener on the end also.

Shelf brackets, book ends, candle holders, wall schonches, lamps, tables, etc, etc......
It all depends on how far you want to go with it. Just be careful, it's addicting.
Good luck and show pics!
