bill s Posted February 16, 2011 Great texturing on the Frederick's Cross. That's an interesting bar of steel in the background too. Quote
MRobb Posted February 16, 2011 Thanks. The texturing is just a lot of chisel work. The bar in the back is the handle portion of a steak turner I made. It has a bottle opener on the end also. Mitch Quote

MRobb Posted February 16, 2011 Ok, sorry. The link above doesn't work. Maybe one of our very talented administrators can straighten this out. Quote
Steve Shimanek Posted February 17, 2011 Nice job! My mentor and I just worked on a sample cross and it was an interesting execise; yours is very nice. Quote
Marksnagel Posted February 17, 2011 Really nice cross, I make Fredricks crosses almost every time the forge is lit. Yours looks great! Nice twist on the turner. Mark<>< Quote
prof Posted February 17, 2011 Do you have a pattern on how to make this cross? i would sure like to know how. Prof Quote
MRobb Posted February 18, 2011 Thanks everyone. Prof, no real pattern. It's a typical Fredrick's cross (or split cross). I know there are instructions on this site on how to make one. I just shaped mine and used a chisel for texturing. It's textured that way on both sides. Thanks for looking & the comments. Mitch Quote
MRobb Posted March 30, 2011 Thanks to the administrator(s) for fixing my link above. Much appreciated. :D Mitch Quote
