August 17, 20169 yr well a good solid gold plating works without the goopiness (technical term) of heavy zinc. (I saw a lot of exterior modern ornamental iron in Bavaria that looks like it was hot dipped galvanized.)

August 25, 20169 yr A tentacle would be cool but a couple hands and nose like the "Kilroy was here" graffiti would be an eye getter. We keep talking about hot dip galvanizing and the problems involved with the finish. Does ANYBODY here electroplate galvanize? Electroplate galvy gets into every nook and cranny and is thin so it doesn't glob up fine detail. Just wondering, Frosty The Lucky.
