mick maxen
In another area on this site there is a thread about common names for damascus steel patterns. So I thought I would show you this pattern. It was a result of messing about with some steel to achieve a certain pattern, but it did not work as I expected. The result is quite interesting, though. What you might call a happy mistake. So if you were to name this pattern what would you call it. There was a similar thread on another forum a few years ago asking the same question and some interesting ideas and names came up.
