How can 3/8" of stainless sq stock make her so happy?

This saturday my buddy and I made hammers and such. So today I thought a happy wife is a happy blacksmith. I started with a piece of 1/4" stainless square stock and forged a seahorse ring it only took 3/8" of the bar to make it and she was one happy wife.
