  14. Wow..that's something else.. Very nice work particularly the steady hand using the plasma...that torch is in good order!. Just out of curiosity, what plate thickness were you cutting there?
  15. I wouldn't even think twice about it...Get it & enjoy tinkering with it. I've a lot of time for these old girls. Far too many machines end up as scrap where in my opinion it's an absolute waste & a shocking end to perfectly good machines. You'll find use for it.....Better to be looking at it than looking for it.. I've 6 lathes btw lol

  20. Make sure you leave the back jaw of your vice clear of the work top edge so that work can be tightened up without striking the bench. I've done up a small sketch that explains it best... Hope this helps

  23. Many thanks Jim, I'm very pleased with the outcome and looking forward to setting her up good and proper will a good set of tooling. There's a good thread on this topic already set up with some really neat ideas.
