  1. G'day Matt, I hear and agree with what your saying and would not have posted the above if Glenn had not already posted his full address in this section. Are you going this year and are you going to get Mike to come down? cheers John.
  2. Craig eat more carrots mate, if you see me at our shed I can tell you where to go, I mean give you directions. Its not all that hard. You drive to Braidwood go to the end of the main drag and turn right on Captains Flat road for 10 Klm, turn right into Burks hill Rd, drive to the end( very short road) where there are two gates in front of you, go in the one on the left, drive up past the house to the left, go past gate and keep to the left dirt road which will take you down to the engine room. How easy is that!
  3. Chris & Clubbyboy good to see you onboard, a big G'day from Tamworth NSW enjoy. cheers John.

  7. G'day Rusty, Drewy started off the "Peel River Artist Blacksmiths" many moons ago I think around 1994, at that stage we were known as "Australian Blacksmith Association Tamworth & District". The name was changed in 2006, Drewy has also worked in America for I think a year Blacksmithing, he is also a member of the Australian Eastern N. S. W. Coastal Group and is friends with Glenn Moon & Forgemaster. He attends most major events in Oz. Cheers John.

  13. G'Day Tony, Forgemaster & Moony tell me there is a blacksmith at Peak Hill by the name of David Shara you may look up his phone number in phone book and give him a ring, I have been told his a good bloke. cheers John.
  14. Thanks Phil, I have an enquiry from a chap at Cobar, Glenn Moon told me about the guy at Peek Hill in chat today, I shall give him the name and let him take it from there. I have had another enquiry from an Anthony Cook at Cessnock, I told him he would be welcome to join us but he would be better off joining the coastal group, I gave him the phone numbers for Wayne Saunders and Colin Dray to follow up with. There seems to be another surge of interest in blacksmithing again. cheers John.

  17. G'Day Tony, I do not know of one but if you go into "Introduce Yourself" section and let everyone know a little about yourself and ask for any smiths in your area to contact you, then take it from there. While your at it there is also an "Oz Roll Call" in the "Everything Else" section, you can sign up and have a look, you may find someone close to you in there. Hope this helps. Cheers John.
