  2. G'day Phil, I have resigned from the club as of the end of June and I am thinking of joining the costal group. I was going to Braidwood up until the date got changed, I have a family thing on the new date so I cannot attend this year. Cheers John.

  9. Our club had a visitor from Canberra on the weekend 24/03/13. David Binny was in Tamworth with his Wife and two new arrivals in the form of twins (a pigeon pair) to show to his wife's relatives. David took time out to visit with us and belt some hot steel. David has a good sense of humor and all enjoyed the day. I have invited David to become a member on IFI etc. David is just starting out and wishes to join other hobby blacksmiths in Canberra, could you please contact me if you know of any. cheers John.
  10. All P.R.A.B. members please be aware that the "Wood Turners Weekend Expo" has been rescheduled to 21st / 22nd September 2013. There are too many events on in April which would clash.

  12. A lot of water but still here Phil, I think its a case of same old same old. We have our craft centers "Wood Turners Show" coming up in a couple of months and there is a lot to do. Its a very big week end for the centre. cheers John.

  21. Kurgan, as soon as the coke in the middle is burning, back off the air so the fire will spread. The fire will collapse in the middle because the charcoal will burn up, this is not unusual. When you first add coke it should be approximately twice the depth of the pot in height this will allow for the charcoal burning off. I wish I was there to show you it is very easy, as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" :)
