I think you have a bulk oil dispenser. You could line it with fire brick add a 2" pipe coming one at angle so the flame unrolls. Use waste oil if you have access to large amount. Need blower from old oil furnace or similar. Google smelter

Should be some smiths in Kansas depending on where you live
Check out the OK group saltfork blacksmiths if yo are in the south or the Prairie blacksmith group from NE or BAM in MO.
BAM has a big conference coming up in May some tailgating with some tools for sale
BAM has more tailgating than some conferences but few compaired to SOFA which is something to it self
Asking several blacksmiths any opinion will get you the exact oposite answer it is like the ford chevy dodge or politics.
I like a square faced hammer with a slight dome and use the edges tilted as the pien instead of a cross or strait pien hammer so a sounding hammer would work for me but I dont use one just dont use the pien.
