    The Dark Tower, Led Zeppelin, and learning to craft. I make chain mail, not armor, but necklaces and scale appointments. That was kind of my first foray into hand crafting things that I couldn't buy. I want to learn about blacksmithing and forging. I have read a lot of the discussions as a visitor to this site over the last few months, and I really enjoy the way most of the folks on here conduct themselves in an adult manner in the forums. I'm looking forward to this new adventure into the riddle of steel, and I hope to craft some unique items for my new home.

    Good morning everyone. My name is Andy, I'm from middle Tennessee, and I am brand new to blacksmithing. I have been doing a lot of research and collecting of materials. I'm hoping to learn from others that have real experience in the field. I don't really have any professional aspirations, but I have a very sincere desire to learn. I am also looking for other experienced smiths in the area. Safety first :)
