Does anyone have knowledge and history of the quilt for the 1988 ABANA conference, likely auctioned to raise funds? It has appeared in a thrift store in New England. On the quilt are the names of the makers: Made for ABANA by Kathy Woolridge Kitha Kierbow Lorraine Humble Pam Howard Jean Hale Cordelia Daniels Pam Caublesmith 1988

November 4 Friday Night at John C Campbell Folk School there will be a Hammer-in to make items donated for their Blacksmith and Fine Crafts Auction on Nov. 5 2016 1-4 PM. There will also be an AACB/ABANA NC meeting Saturday Morning with a demonstrator and an Iron In the Hat (blacksmith items raffle). 50th Anniversary Celebration April 17 - 18, 2015 The 50th anniversary of AACB will be celebrated in 2015!! We are going to have a hammer-in at Fiddlers Grove in Lebanon, TN.

Choo Choo Forge has open forge every Thursday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm for members, visitors are always welcome. We have new classes all the time with 2 of the best instructors any one could hope for. It's a great atmosphere where everyone one is learning and helping others learn at the same time. We have special projects from time to time such as the gas forges we are just completing. Tomahawks are in the near future. Meetings are the first Thursday at 6:00pm every month. Times are EST. Come see what all the excitement is about.
