We would like to welcome Appalachian Area Chapter of Blacksmiths (AACB) to IForgeIron. This is your forum so please keep us informed as to your events, hammer-ins, conferences etc. Follow up with photos etc to show us what we missed. Be sure to post those events, hammer-ins etc in the IForgeIorn calendar so we can keep current and be able to plan out schedules to attend.

Hey Sam,

I am in the RCBA forge in Murfreesbor but we have a couple of members that live in Cookville. You should contact RCBA to get there e-mail.

We're having a 50th anniversary celebration 17-18 April 2015, at Fiddlers Grove in Lebanon, Tennessee. Free to all AACB members.

How do we move AACB to the active list?

How do we move AACB to the active list?

Make posts.  Tell us about your upcoming events and meetings etc. Then post photos to show us what we missed by not being there.

If the groups have several posts within 90 days or so we consider them active. We move the groups to the inactive list when they are inactive.

Make each event a separate post so you can read about what is of interest to you, and post to it later. Keeps things organized that way.

You can look at the examples I posted today.

Thanks for moving us to the active list. We will do our best to stay active!

Talk to the guys Derek if someone is close by they'll let you know. Heck, you might have to start your own chapter it isn't hard, a few guys get together a few times and VIOLA you're a chapter!

Just don't go to the bathroom during a meeting they'll elect you president. Happened to me.
